Prince Charles and Camilla honour fallen soldiers

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are frequently photographed showing their support for the troops.

And on Monday they paid tribute to those who died in battle nearly 95 years ago, during the First World War.

The royal couple were joined by Australia's governor-general, Quentin Bryce, at the burial service in a new military cemetery in Fromelles, France.

It is the final resting place for about 250 fallen British and Australian heroes - some unidentified - whose bodies were discovered in a mass grave nearby two years ago.

"In laying this last hero to rest, we honour them all," remarked Charles at the sombre event. "I am profoundly humbled by the outstanding bravery of these men who fought so valiantly."
