The reason the Queen's cousin, Lord Brabourne, left his wife of 30 years to start a new life in the Caribbean has been revealed.
Daily Mail columnist Richard Kay says that Lord Brabourne has fallen in love with 57-year-old Bahamian beauty Jeannie McWeeny.
The new couple have known each other for many years, as the 62-year-old Lord often spends his winters on the tiny Windermere Island in the Bahamas.
The pair are, according to a friend, "very content together."
They only became close after Jeannie's husband, baronet Sir Nicholas Nuttall, died at the age of 73 three years ago.
Lord Brabourne is a good friend of Prince Charles and occupied residence Broadlands - a 60-room mansion set in 5,000 acres in Hampshire - before recently leaving Britain.
Jeannie is the daughter of a hotel receptionist and runs her own fashion label - named Jeannie McQueeny - which boasts a selection of Caribbean-themed clothes and jewellery sold in luxury department store Harrods.
