Comic David Walliams has been nominated for a rather unexpected accolade.
The funnyman is up for The Roald Dahl Funny Prize, which is awarded for the best comedy children's books of the year.
His book, Gangsta Granny, is his fourth to date, and it details the story of a granny who leads a double life as a thief.
Scriptwriter for the Olympic Opening Ceremony Cottrell Boyce is also up for the prize for his Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sequel.
