Ray Stevenson: 'Thor 2' will be a real thriller

Ray Stevenson has revealed that the Thor sequel will bring more thrills and spills.

The British actor reprises his role as Thor's friend Volstagg in Thor: The Dark World, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston.

He teased: "Thor 2 is coming out in November, I think. It's going to be great.

"It's grittier, the stakes are higher. Asgard is under major threat so all the stakes are upped."

Ray - currently seen in HBO hit show Dexter - will next appear in GI Joe: Retaliation, where he takes on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as his nemesis Firefly.

He admitted he enjoys playing villains, saying: "Baddies don't think they're baddies. Nobody wakes up in the morning and thinks, 'I'm going to be bad today'. But you know what? They are so much fun. "
