Kate Winslet spared blushes by kindly stranger
Mum-of-two Kate Winslet was spared embarrassment by a kindly stranger last week, after a bank refused to exchange her bag of coins for notes.
The Titanic actress had headed to a bank in New York with her children Mia, nine, and six-year-old Joe, to change their loose change into dollar bills.
However, as Kate doesn't have an account at the bank, they refused to process the transaction.
A fellow customer offered to change the coins into notes on the Oscar winner´s behalf, and was stunned when Kate removed her sunglasses to thank him.
"Oh my, are you Kate Winslet?" he exclaimed.
