Its sheer beauty elicited a collective gasp from the world.
Now, the Duchess of Cambridge will be sharing her wedding dress with the nation all over again, this time up close.
The stunning gown is to take pride of place at an exhibition about the royal wedding in Buckingham Palace this summer.
And lucky visitors will be able to see more special elements from the day Kate married Prince William, including the 'halo' tiara lent to her by the Queen.
Her shoes, veil, flowers and even the wedding cake are also on display.
Record demand means that an advance ticket will cost you £17.50 – more than double the fee for last summer.
And some 60,000 people have already bagged a ticket to relive the joyful day.
Kate herself was treated to a sneak preview on Wednesday night.
The Grace Kelly-inspired dress is adorned with lace flowers two millimetres apart that were sewn on by hand by the world’s best seamstresses at the Royal School of Needlework.
The exhibition runs until October 3 and tickets can be purchased from www.royalcollection.org.uk or by calling 0207 766 7300.
