The most famous bridesmaid dress in history is now on sale.

For £1,995 Pippa Middleton's followers can get their hands on a version of the slither of silk worn by their heroine before a global audience at Westminster Abbey.

Net-a-porter is offering the Alexander McQueen design in white for brides.

The creation features the cowl-neck and slim fit that showed off Pippa's pilates-toned figure to perfection.

But it has a zip instead of the fabric buttons on the original.

For cocktail hour and Christmas parties, there is also a below the knee version in va-va-voom red.

Pippa, who knows how to make a statement, would no doubt approve.
