Detectives are investigating a threat against Cheryl Cole which was left as a message on X Factor host Dermot O'Leary's mobile phone.
"We are investigating claims of an offensive message being left on a mobile telephone. It follows a complaint from a member of the public," a police spokesperson says.
Dermot was said to be "horrified" by the threat, reports The Sun.
