A week after calling police for a health problem and receiving psychiatric care in an LA clinic, Mischa Barton is making improvements, says her spokesman.

The 23-year-old screen beauty is still "seeking treatment" and plans to report for filming on The Beautiful Life, a US show about a pill-popping supermodel.

Her shoot is scheduled to begin on  July 31. 
 
According to People magazine, The OC actress actress has already left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was being evaluated under a code known as a 5150 hold. 

This is equivalent to the UK legal term 'sectioning'.

It's not clear what led to the health issues, but friends said Mischa had been on a "destructive path" for a while.

In a July 2008 interview she expressed disappointment with herself after being arrested for drink driving.
