Photographer Mario Testino has revealed he used music played at photo shoots with Princess Diana to create a relaxed atmosphere at Prince William and Kate Middleton's engagement photo session.
The tracks in question were from French singer Dalida – and they were played while the couple posed at st James Palace shortly after announcing their good news.
Mario says the pair were in high spirits during the shoot.
"The contrast of the contemporary music playing in the beautiful rooms with so much history caused a lot of laughter," he said.
