John Cleese's divorce pay out halved due to credit crunch

The Monty Python star has had his £1.3 million-a-year divorce settlement - which he described as "feeding the beast" - reduced after a US judge agreed that the original amount he was to pay to ex-wife Alyce Faye was excessive in the current recession
