"Maybe I'll be completely hopeless, but I can't miss an opportunity like this one in my life," France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy said when announcing her new film project.
The glamorous model-turned-singer has accepted a proposal from US director Woody Allen to star in his next film.
The 73-year-old New Yorker made the request in Paris earlier this year after the two met up.
"Woody Allen kindly asked me not to do a film with anyone else before him," Carla reveals.
"It would be a great experience for me. When I'm a grandmother, I'd like to be able to say I made a film with Woody Allen."
