Former Smiths frontman Morrisey was rushed to hospital after collapsing with breathing difficuties just minutes after taking to the stage on Saturday night in Swindon.
The singer has now been released from the city's Great Western Hospital, where he received treatment.
After the 50-year-old was discharged on Sunday, the hospital commented that he was "much improved" and that he had only stayed overnight as a precaution.
No details have been released about his condition.
He cancelled gigs earlier in the year due to an "unspecified illness".
