The four-year-old daughter of American boxing legend Mike Tyson has died a day after she was injured while playing at home in Phoenix, Arizona, local police have confirmed.
Exodus Tyson had been on a life support machine since Monday, when she was found with her neck caught in the cable of a treadmill exercise machine.
Forty-two-year-old Mike, a former heavyweight champion, was in Las Vegas filming a documentary when the accident happened, and immediately flew to Phoenix to be at his daughter's bedside.
A spokesman for the sportsman said: "The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest, most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time."
