Brittany Murphy's husband to sue Warner Bros
The widower of Brittany Murphy - British screenwriter Simon Monjack - has announced he is going to sue Warner Brothers over his wife's death.
Devastated Simon claims the studio was responsible for the heart attack that killed Brittany because it “dropped” her from her role in the animated sequel to Happy Feet.
“She was devastated,” he reveals in an interview with US publication The Daily Beast.
In response, a spokesman for the company says: "Any claim that Warner Bros was somehow responsible for Brittany Murphy's tragic death is demonstrably false and reprehensible.”
