William gives up first-class airline seat for Kate's folks
He's Kate Middleton's prince charming, and on a recent flight to Geneva it wasn't only his girlfriend William was treating gallantly. The second-in-line to the throne gave up his place in the first-class cabin to Kate's parents, choosing to sit in economy with his girlfriend instead.
He made the gesture as he joined his 27-year-old love, her younger sister Pippa, 24, and their parents Michael and Carole on a skiing holiday in the French Alps this month.
"William actually hates having a fuss made of him when he travels, and found it a lot more relaxing than having the cabin crew all nervously hovering around him at the front of the aircraft," a royal source told the Daily Mail.
