Jon Bon Jovi had something to share with Tribeca Film Festival audiences this week. The US rocker turned up with his band-mates to unveil a work-in-progress documentary about himself and the rest of the Bon Jovi crew.
Entitled When We Were Beautiful, the film – commissioned to celebrate the band's 25th anniversary – aims to get to the bottom of what makes the charismatic front man and his group tick. It was filmed while the outfit were on the road in 2008.
It's not the first time the 47-year-old singer has made an appearance at the festival. Two years ago Jon opened the cina event by performing at an environmentally-themed evening.
In addition to the new documentary Jon has appeared in a number of screen projects. He had a role in war movie U-571 and his TV credits include Sex And The City and Ally McBeal.
