Larry King steps down from US chat show

Veteran broadcaster Larry King will end his nightly CNN show this autumn.

The US presenter has conducted more than 40,000 interviews over the past 25 years.

Larry King Live has also made it into the Guinness Book of Records as the longest-running show with the same host in the same time slot.

Larry, 76, says he wants to spend more time with his family.

His marriage to seventh wife Shawn Southwick hit the rocks earlier this year when he filed for divorce.

The couple have since reconciled.
