Spoiler alert: Identity of 'Housewives' bride revealed
It was the cliffhanger that kept Desperate Housewives fans on the edge of their seats at the end of season five – who was Wisteria Lane's resident plumber Mike Delfino getting hitched to?
And now, with series six kicking off in the US, the identity of his mystery bride has been revealed.
Mike, played by James Denton, chose his ex Susan Mayer - aka Teri Hatcher - over his lover Katherine Mayfair, played by Dana Delaney.
Earlier in the summer, both actresses were spotted filming nuptials scenes in a bid to keep fans guessing.
But now the secret is out, with the shows creator Marc Cherry saying he chose Susan to avoid "frustrating the fans".
UK followers of the show will have to wait until the New Year to see the start of Mike and Susan's 'happily ever after', when the new series hits screens.
