Men Behaving Badly star Leslie Ash has taken another step forward in her recuperation, showing another side of herself in a new underwear campaign.
Still walking with the aid of crutches after contracting a near-fatal hospital bug, the actress says her latest project demonstrates that she's well on the road to recovery – and, aged 44, that she's still willing to highlight her sultrier side. "It shows to the world that I'm better," she says. "Plus, at my age, I'm just flattered to be asked to model lingerie. It makes a nice change that a mature woman can be pictured in a bra."
And apparently, she's not the only one singing the praises of the new advert. Husband Lee Chapman, a former footballer, has also given the Playtex shots his seal of approval. "Lee loves them," she said. "I actually feel very sexy at the moment." |
