Arriving at the Hilton Hotel for the Children's Baftas, the 21-year-old posed for the cameras in casual style, with a loosely-knotted fuchsia tie and striped shirt livening up a softly-structured dark suit.
Sporting a goatee and carefully disordered blond locks, the prime minister's son seemed to be in relaxed mode despite the criticism provoked by his Paris work experience.
Although he is believed to have been paid in the region of £700 for the eight-week placement, fellow employees have been quoted as saying that he and his girlfriend, 17-year-old Suzanne Ashman, enjoyed £40,000 worth of benefits and luxury perks over the period, courtesy of LVMH owner Bernard Arnault.
The billionaire is said to have provided a plush apartment, bodyguards, a chauffeur-driven car and various kinds of entertainment way beyond the reach of Euan's modest salary.
Critics are pointing to the Ministerial Code created by Tony Blair, which specifies that ministers and members of their families may not receive gifts which could appear to place them under an obligation.
Downing Street has responded by saying that since Euan was doing "paid employment", the question of whether the Blair family had received benefit in kind did not apply. |
