England's star midfielder cuddles his baby girl on Saturday. Ironically, the yacht was flying the flag of Portugal, the country that knocked England out of the World Cup, but that did nothing to dampen Frank's good mood

England's star midfielder Frank Lampard let his World Cup disappointment drift away when he stepped aboard a luxury yacht in St Tropez at the weekend. The 28-year-old, who confessed to being deeply upset when his team were knocked out of the competition by Portugal, could barely contain his delight as he played with baby daughter Luna in the Mediterranean sunshine.
The hunky athlete was also accompanied by his Spanish fiancée Elen Rives and a group of his friends. And his loved ones were no doubt pleased to see the footie ace smiling and laughing again. "I cried a couple of times at the end of the game," admitted the Chelsea star after the much talked-about defeat in Germany. "Deep down I really believed we could go all the way - the tears were there."
A bit of quality time with his family has obviously done the trick, though, as the two-time England Player of the Year is clearly back to his old self.
