LINDSAY AND KATE PARTY WITH TOMMY HILFIGER IN PARIS

19 OCTOBER 2006

There were more than a few Americans in Paris on Wednesday as US designer Tommy Hilfiger launched his new store in the French capital. Hollywood starlets Lindsay Lohan and Kate Bosworth jetted in especially for the occasion on the fashionable Rue Saint Honore.

Around 1,000 partygoers, including French footballer and Arsenal captain Thierry Henri, attended the bash, which included a short set from rocker Lenny Kravitz.

The night's stylish host had donned a black beaded jacket for the glittering do, but Tommy would have to admit to being out-sparkled by Mean Girls actress Lindsay - who shimmered from top to toe in an embellished mini dress and sequinned heels.

The 20-year-old wasn't just there to party, however. "I've known Tommy Hilfiger since I was very young and I made a promise to him to DJ," she said, adding: "I'm not sure how I got myself into this, but I love Paris."

Lindsay, who lives in a hotel, recently revealed she has set herself a number of targets within the next ten years. "I want to get married before I'm 30 and have my house. I also want to make the kind of record I want. And I'd like to win an Oscar before then."
