Never one to shy away from a challenge, Heather Mills clambers onto the roof of her new restaurant to declare it open for business.
The ex-wife of Beatles star Paul McCartney will be serving meat-free dishes in VBites, the vegan eatery she plans to develop into a chain.
After scaling a 20ft ladder to welcome her first clients from atop the seaside café in her hometown Hove, East Sussex, the model-turned-campaigner took orders and served up slices of cake.
This fulfills a promise she made recently to personally dish up meals – including roast tatties – whenever she got the chance.
These days 41-year-old Heather is showing a pronounced penchant for a more down-to-earth lifestyle following her marriage to the millionaire singer.
A few weeks ago she even stayed at a £45-per-night Welsh holiday camp with her boyfriend snooker player James Walker, whom she met when he was working in a Tenerife resort.
