A member of Britain's biggest boy band and one of the country's most acclaimed songwriters, Gary Barlow has got a lot of friends in the music industry.

And those same famous pals braved London's evening chill on Tuesday to help the star celebrate his ten-year wedding anniversary to wife Dawn in style.

Among the guests helping the couple mark the special event were Cheryl Cole and her footballer husband – whose fourth wedding anniversary is in July.

The X Factor beauty pulled out all the stops in a black dress with an extravagant bejewelled neckline and sheer cutaway panelling.

Strictly judge Alesha Dixon was on equally fine form in a strapless white tutu-style frock, while Kimberley Walsh sparkled in a little gold number.

More than just stylish, sexy ladies, the trio have something else in common; last year they all took part in a hike up Mount Kilimanjaro – organised by Gary – to help raise money for Comic Relief.

Most of their fellow climbers were also in attendance at the party.

Expectant Denise van Outen – five months pregnant with her first child – kept her bump hidden away under a winter coat.

Ronan Keating also attended, along with his wife Yvonne, as did DJ's Fearne Cotton and Chris Moyles.

The dinner party at the Mandarin Oriental hotel came exactly ten years after Gary and Dawn, who have three children together, Daniel, Emily and baby Daisy, tied the knot.

The pair first met back in 1995 during Take That's Nobody Else tour, during which Dawn worked as a backing dancer.
