He's been spotted in a USA team sweater in recent days, but Matthew McConaughey's home nation football team clearly isn't the only country he's backing in the World Cup.

The Hollywood actor and his little boy Levi stepped out in New York this week wearing matching football shirts of Brazil, the birthplace of Matthew's wife Camilla Alves.

Matthew was taking the cute toddler - who turns two next month - to visit a fire station. Levi, cute as a button in a denim cap, got the chance to sit in the driver's seat of the fire truck. And his dad snapped the moment on film.

Levi, and his six-month-old little sister Vida stayed with their nanny on Tuesday afternoon while dad and mum watched Brazil take on North Korea in their opening game of the tournament.

And there was cause to celebrate for Brazilian model and designer Camilla, as her team won 2-1.
