The celebrations continue: Michael Buble and his new wife bring wedding party to Canada

It was the happiest day of their lives. So it's no surprise that Michael Buble and his new wife Luisana Lopilato were keen to continue the wedding celebrations with a second reception.

Just six weeks after the couple tied the knot in Luisana's native Argentina they returned to the Canadian superstar's home country for a party thrown by his parents.

Speaking of the party plans, the 35-year-old's mother said: "I wanted the environment to feel like old time Hollywood - maybe like I imagine a party after the Oscars in the Forties."

Singer Michael celebrated with 350 friends and family - including 24-year-old Luisana's family who had flown from Argentina.

The pair met at one of Michael's concerts in Buenos Aires in 2008 and became engaged a year later.
