Jennifer Lopez 'living la vida loca' in Vegas following sexy festival performance

26 SEPTEMBER 2011

Jennifer Lopez seems to be embracing her single status.

The 42-year-old let loose in Las Vegas on Saturday night, partying at the Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace following a show-stealing performance at the iHeartRadio music festival.

Jennifer arrived at the nightclub around 2am, dressed in a short cream dress with pink stripes.

She was escorted by an entourage of more than a dozen people, including her backing dancers, who joined her in the elevated VIP area.

The mother-of-two – who announced her split from husband Marc Anthony in July – was out to enjoy herself.

About an hour after arriving, "one of her dancers took his shirt off and gave her a lap dance," a source told People.

"She was laughing and loving it."

While for the most part Jennifer was barely visible to the crowd below, she did come to the front of the VIP section when her single, On The Floor, played out.

She sang and danced along to the track, to the delight of fans who had been eagerly hoping to catch a glimpse of the star.

The singer's night out in Vegas followed a performance at the star-studded iHeartRadio festival.

One of many acts to take part in the two-day event, including Lady Gaga, Sting, Steve Tyler, Usher and Nicole Scherzinger, she stole the show with her sexy and sassy display.

Jennifer took to the stage in a red feathery tasselled outfit, giving the crowd glimpses of her famous derriere as she shook her booty during a red hot set that included her new single Papi, and hits Let's Get Loud, Ain't It Funny and Jenny From The Block.
