20 OCTOBER 2011
There was confusion over David Hasselhoff's relationship status this week after the Britain's Got Talent judge made an announcement on Twitter.
"So Hayley Roberts has dumped me," wrote the Baywatch star, leading fans to believe the romance with his Welsh love was over.

But the tweet was soon deleted and replaced at 6am with: "I love Hayley Roberts", followed by: "Sorry guys, not true. Me and Hayley Roberts are doing great."
The 59-year-old later blamed the erroneous tweet on someone spamming his account.
"Hey gang ther's (sic) some weird spam going out please disreagard (sic) any negative messages," he wrote, adding: "Am in Birmingham!! All is Good!"
David and Hayley have been dating for the past six months.
Romance blossomed after the 31-year-old blonde asked the Hoff for a photograph when he was in Wales for auditions for his TV star search.
Of the meeting, David says: "Hayley's opening line was, 'can I have a photo?'
"And mine was, 'only if I can have your number.' I then said, 'you probably have a boyfriend'. And when she said no, that was a done deal."
The pair – who lifted the lid on their romance exclusively for HELLO! magazine
– have been inseparable so far.
David has even tried to pop the question more than once to the former Debenham's employee – who left her job to travel around the world with him.
judge has posted pictures of himself going down on one knee, writing on one: "She was having none of it."
Marriage may not be on the cards right now – as far as Hayley seems to be concerned, anyway – but things are going well for the couple.
The petite blonde has the approval of David's daughters Taylor Ann and Hayley Amber – from his marriage to Pamela Bach.
And the actor is planning to spend Christmas with his girlfriend and her family.
He's signed up to do a panto in Bristol, close to his love's hometown of Glynneath, near Merthyr Tydfil.
He's also bought himself a new home in Lisvane, an upmarket area of Cardiff.
