Halle and Gabriel told to take joint parenting classes

31 JANUARY 2012 They're currently in the middle of a fraught custody battle over their daughter Nahla.

And now Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have apparently been told they should take joint parenting classes together.

Halle, 45, who was pictured arriving at LA Superior Court on Monday, and her 36-year-old ex were reportedly advised by the LA Department of Children and Family Services.

A source told RadarOnline that the classes should give the pair "the tools to work through their issues, and hopefully become better parents for it".

According to website TMZ, Gabriel has also agreed to attend anger management sessions after an incident when he was alleged to have "pushed" his daughter's nanny.

A law enforcement source connected with the case reportedly told the website: "Gabriel has a little bit of a temper, but the good news is that he realises it."

The same website claims the Department of Children has also recommended counselling for three-year-old Nahla.

Halle and Gabriel split in 2010. The Gothica actress has since gone on to find love again with Kylie Minogue's ex Olivier Martinez.

The pair are rumoured to be engaged – Halle has been spotted wearing a golden ring on her engagement finger.
