Return to form for lady in black Lindsay at White House dinner

30 APRIL 2012 A healthy glow in her cheeks, and strawberry blonde hair tumbling over her shoulders – Lindsay Lohan looks better than ever.

The Mean Girls actress put in a smouldering appearance at the White House Correspondent's Dinner in a plunging floor length gown in midnight black.

Her scarlet lipstick and subtle eye makeup completed the glam night time look perfectly.

In absence of a date for the evening, the 25-year-old took along her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who has represented her during her recent troubles.

Lindsay joined a host of stars at the event, including Kim Kardashian, George Clooney and Elle Macpherson.

There was debate about whether Lindsay would make to Washington in time for the high profile event, after reports she had missed her plane after staying up late partying.

The actress refuted the claims on Twitter, saying she had rescheduled as she was filming Glee.

"Didn't miss my flight, was always taking a red eye because I was working during the original flight," she tweeted.
