Cheryl is the cream of the crop as she joins Cameron on the red carpet

23 MAY 2012

It's been a busy week for Cheryl Cole.

Following her show-stopping appearance in Cannes, she jetted back to the UK on Monday to support her friend Kimberley Walsh.

And she was back on the red carpet on Tuesday, making a spectacular entrance at the London premiere of her first film, What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

Cheryl, 28, stepped out at the screening in a beautiful white and peach gown by Victoria Beckham.

She perfectly complemented her co-star, Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz, who also dazzled in white wearing a playsuit designed by her pal Stella McCartney.

While Cheryl only has a small role in the ensemble comedy, she admitted it was a "big night" for her, and told reporters she would love to be offered more acting jobs.

Cameron – one of the world’s highest paid stars – was full of praise for the former X Factor star, saying: "She can do whatever she wants to do.

"She is clearly talented and so lovely. I think this performance is the beginning of many for her."

Cheryl features in the film as a TV talent show judge, and appears in the film’s opening scene as Cameron’s character auditions for a dance competition.

What To Expect When You’re Expecting, which also stars Jennifer Lopez, follows five couples dealing with impending parenthood.

Matthew Morrison, who plays Cameron’s dancer boyfriend, and on-screen couple Chace Crawford and Anna Kendrick were also on hand to celebrate the film’s release.

Other famous faces stepping out at the premiere included red hot Rochelle Wiseman and The Only Way Is Essex’s Lydia Bright.
