'Our daddies are the champions': Spanish heroes celebrate with kids
Cheers reverberated around the country at the final whistle as Spain were proclaimed champions of Europe, following a crushing victory over Italy.
And as many took to the streets to celebrate, the party on the pitch was already in full swing with the players' wives, girlfriends and children rushing on to savour the moment with their heroes.
With streamers falling all around, the cute youngsters congratulated their dads with plenty of hugs and kisses.
Meanwhile, in the dressing room team captain Iker Casillas and his men received warm wishes from Crown Prince Felipe.

celabratory messages. She posted to her boyfriend, Barcelona FC player Gerard Pique, "Congratulations Spain! Today you have made history. And to my 'number' 3, I am so proud of you."
