The latest development follows Friday's tragic news that the action hero's eldest son was found dead at his Hollywood home. An autopsy was carried out two days later, but conclusive toxicology tests can take more than six weeks to yield results.  Initial reports suggest that Sage may have fallen victim to prescription drug addiction. But his lawyer George Braunstein, denied the claims, saying his client and friend was teetotal. Meanwhile, bereaved father Sylvester is struggling to come to terms with the loss of his child.

"This agonising loss will be felt for the rest of our lives," the grieving father told TMZ."Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory in full left in peace. "When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha. "The 36-year-old, pictured above with his uncle Frank Stallone, was the actor's eldest child with his first wife, actress Sasha Czack. Sylvester is now married to Jennifer Flavin, with whom he has three daughters. The father and son team starred together in two films, working side by side on 1996's Daylight, and in 1990's Rocky V – the iconic franchise that secured Sylvester's legacy as one of Tinseltown's leading hard men. That image earned him legions of followers, headed by Sage who was said to have adored his father.
