Holly Valance and Nick Candy ready to expand their family

24 OCTOBER 2012

Holly Valance and Nick Candy have only been married a month, but the couple are already thinking of adding to their family.

The newlyweds, who attended the Skyfall premiere together on Tuesday night, have confessed they are keen to have children.

"You have to ask God, but I say we will," the former Strictly contestant told the Telegraph. "It's generally what you do."

Looking stunning in a red dress with matching cape, the Kiss Kiss singer also revealed their honeymoon destination was a safari in Africa.

The 29-year-old, who rose to fame as Flick Scully in the Australian soap Neighbours, kept the location a secret and only tweeted mysterious scenic pictures of beaches.

"It was my first time in Africa and first time on safari, so it's life changing. I am not sure what my favourite memory is – the whole thing blows your mind. I'm really enjoying married life."

Since the nuptials, Holly has changed her Twitter profile name to @hollycandy and is also using her married name professionally.

The jet-setting duo, who got engaged last year in the Maldives, flew their family and friends to LA for their big day. The couple met in Los Angeles at a mutual friend's dinner party in 2009.

The newlyweds footed a bill which is said to have cost £3 million by the time the last champagne cork was popped.

The bulk of the tab was due to the presence of singer Katy Perry, who was reportedly paid £1.2 million to serenade guests such as Nancy Dell'Olio, Simon Cowell and artist Tracy Emin under the dusky Californian skies.

Holly was a vision in her cascading £35,000 J'Aton dress complete with an extravagant train, and shed tears of joy as she made things official with 39-year-old Nick – who has an estimated fortune of £155 million.
