Rebecca Ferguson smoulders in midnight gown at Juice FM Style Awards

Sporting a long black maxi gown with flesh-coloured panels that showed off her stunning curves, Rebecca Ferguson looked stunning as she had a night out in Liverpool on Saturday. The former X Factor contestant, who was a runner-up in the 2010 series of the hit show, was attending the Juice Fm Style Awards in the city's breathtaking Anglican Cathedral.

And the mum-of-two, who paired her dramatic gown with old Hollywood-style side swept curls and a lick of bright pink lipstick, picked up two awards on the night: Most Stylish Scouser and the Music Award. But Rebecca was characteristically humble when it came to accepting her fashionista award, modestly telling the cheering audience that "if you saw me when I was taking the kids to school, you wouldn't think I was this glam!" She was joined at the swanky bash by fellow X Factor contestant and the winner of her series, Matt Cardle, who treated guests to a performance of his new song. Meanwhile, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard scored the Stylish Sporting Star Award, while Olympic medal-winning gymnast Beth Tweddle took to the stage to present an award. Sponsored by designer retailer Tessuti, the awards celebrated Liverpool as the most stylish city in the world – covering everything from music, fashion, sport, retail and culture.

Listeners voted online for who they thought deserved to pick up an award at this years star studded event, in categories including the Hotel Award, the Boutique Award and Most Stylish Scouser.
