Victoria Beckham was doing what she does best: taking her daughter Harper on a chic Parisian shopping trip. Mother and daughter were wrapped up against the chill, with the designer in a full-length coat, teamed with her trademark stilettos, and her daughter cute in her red duffel coat.

The Beckham brood has certainly captured the imagination of the French with their various outings in the city. The family arrived in the French capital on Monday evening and were greeted by a horde of paparazzi as they arrived at Gare Du Nord station. After making their way to the five-star Le Bristol hotel, which is rumoured to be David's home while he sees out his five-month stint with football club Paris Saint-Germain, Beckham boys Brooklyn and Romeo helped their brother Cruz to celebrate his ninth birthday by taking in the sites with little sister Harper and a babysitter.

The boys kept out the Parisian chill in shiny puffa jackets, with Romeo upping the glam factor in a pair of Burberry shades – a nod to his recent modelling stint with the famous British brand. Harper, meanwhile, took a nap in her pram while she was pushed around the city.

While his siblings enjoyed a spot of sightseeing, Brooklyn proved that he is following in his father’s footsteps, joining David at the Paris Saint-Germain training ground. Wearing the same pink football boots as his father – the colour of which were chosen in tribute to Harper – the 14-year-old displayed his talent during the kickabout.

It's clear that the Beckham youngsters are taken with the French capital, and it seems that the city is equally pleased with David, with Paris Saint-Germain celebrating his arriving by creating a collage of him around the entrance to its stadium. A picture posted on Twitter by Victoria shows David proudly posing in front of the artwork. Keen to document her foray into the capital, Victoria also posted a picture of the Eiffel Tower to the social networking site.
