Mark Wright denies reports of a rift with Michelle Keegan

It was, according to Mark Wright, a bit of 'banter' with his girlfriend that ended up in the national press. The reality star is setting the record straight after a number of media outlets reported on a Twitter argument between him and Michelle Keegan. It began when Mark posted a picture of himself standing on top of a snow-covered mountain during a skiing holiday with his friends in Austria. "This really has been one amazing week," he wrote. "I don't want to come home."

Michelle, was up in Manchester filming Coronation Street, and responded to the comment with, "….Hmmmmm?!! x", to which her boyfriend replied, "Chill out babe, it's only been four days! #mantime".

The pretty soap star ended the conversation by writing, "Big mistake" — but Mark laughed off comments he had upset Michelle, as was reported in the press.

"How original! Have a bit of banta with my girlfriend and it gets twisted to look bad. We are on that level. Relax people," he tweeted, adding, "Press look at Twitter comments and work out the best way to twist it #laughable. I thought it was good to be able to joke with a partner."

Mark — who became a household name through The Only Way Is Essex — has been dating Michelle for around three months, and their romance seems to be going from strength-to-strength. Speaking at Heart FM's Have a Heart Appeal recently, Mark, 25, said he would never return to reality TV because he doesn't want to jeopardize his relationship. "I'll never do a show like TOWIE again, and I won't ever put my personal life on the line again," he said. "It could ruin the relationship and put a lot of stress on it."
