Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reunite in New York

23 APRIL 2013

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reunited in New York on Monday after being apart for almost a month.

Reality TV star Kim, 32, and rapper boyfriend Kanye, 35, were last photographed together at the beginning of April, when Kanye accompanied his pregnant girlfriend to the airport after spending time together in Paris.

The mum-to-be is in the Big Apple promoting her TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians with her sister Kourtney Kardashian and mum Kris Jenner. Kanye, meanwhile, is taking a break from recording his new album.

For the special occasion, Kim, who's six months pregnant, wore Kanye West for Giuseppe Zanotti leaf-designed heels and a Stella McCartney figure-hugging black dress that perfectly showed off her baby bump.

Kanye opted for a casual look, wearing black jeans, a grey T-shirt and a matching hoodie.

The couple spent their time together shopping at the Isabel Marant store in Soho before bumping into Kanye's close friend Jay-Z in the streets of Manhattan.

Although Kim and Kanye have been spending a lot of time apart, sources close to the couple say that the situation will change soon.

"He's getting all the work out the way so that he can be with Kim and the baby nonstop for at least the first six months," a source told Hollywoodlife.com.

The source adds: "Once their baby is born, Kanye will be on a self-imposed lockdown."

Kim and Kanye have a lot to celebrate, not only because the baby's due date is near, but also because Kim has finally settled her divorce with her second husband, Kris Humphries.

After an 18-month battle, the former couple reached an agreement on Friday morning. Kris, who had asked for $7million (£4.5m) as part of the divorce settlement, is expected to walk away with nothing.

Kim will be legally divorced on 19 June, just weeks before her due date.
