The pair's hectic schedules mean that quality time together can be rare. They were most recently photographed together watching the tennis at the Madrid Open.

Not even the world class tennis could keep the couple from laughing and kissing in the stands as they watched eventual tournament winner Rafael Nadal and his rival David Ferrer battle it out under the springtime sunshine.

The 27-year-old model worked courtside chic in a black maxi dress and black sunglasses and wore her sleek brunette locks loose while Cristiano wore a white t-shirt under a grey waistcoat for the match.

Cristiano, who is father to Cristiano Jr, has also been focussing on his charity work during the break from football.

"I'm glad to be back in Indonesia as Ambassador of the Mangrove Care and to be received by the President," tweeted Cristiano, during a charity trip to Bali. The forum he is ambassador for aims to raise awareness about the importance of conserving biodiversity and ecosystem of mangroves in Bali.
