Best moments from Wimbledon final

Celebrities and royals descended on Centre Court at Wimbledon on Sunday to see the men's final between number one ranking Novak Djokovic and Britain’s Andy Murray.

The world watched in anticipation as the players battled it out for a grueling three hours on one of the country’s hottest days of the year.

After three straight sets, Andy defeated Novak, becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon in 77 years. Andy, 26, collapsed to his knees, head in hands, before running up to celebrate with his team, kissing girlfriend Kim Sears and hugging his proud mum, Judy.

The Olympian was in a state of shock after his victory, later saying, "That last game will be the toughest game I'll play in my career, ever."

Actors Gerard Butler and Bradley Cooper were amongst the spectators cheering on the Scot, amongst other stars including Victoria Beckham, Ronnie Wood and Coleen Rooney.

With an absent Kate Middleton, who attended last year's men's final, Princess Michael of Kent, Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall represented the Royals on Day 13 along with England’s Prime Minister David Cameron and Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
