Andy Murray has fun in the sun with his beach babe Kim Sears

16 JULY 2013

Embracing one another with the sun on their backs and the sand under their toes, Andy Murray and Kim Sears only had eyes for each other as they played in the surf during a well-deserved break in the Bahamas.

The couple jetted off on holiday this week following Andy's historic Wimbledon victory, and were clearly enjoying spending time together as a couple.

"Just got off flight… nice five day break coming up before training starts again next Saturday," Andy, 26, tweeted on Monday. "Going to eat a lot and do very little else."

While he was supposed to be enjoying a break from tennis, Andy couldn't resist showing off his racquet skills on the beach. He and Kim, 25, were pictured playing with a bat and ball as they soaked up the sunshine, ending their game with a loving hug.

Kim, the new fashion darling of Wimbledon, looked beach-perfect in a Ted Baker sundress worn over a yellow bikini. Her voluminous hair, which has made her the envy of women everywhere, was pulled back in a ponytail.

Her boyfriend of eight years showed off his athletic physique in a pair of long blue swimming shorts.

Andy has plenty to smile about at the moment; as well as becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon in 77 years, he is set to make a fortune in endorsement deals.

One high-end label reportedly keen to sign up the sports star is Burberry. Head of the British fashion house Christopher Bailey is said to want Andy and Kim to appear in adverts for the heritage brand.

The couple are big fans of Burberry — both wore the label to the Wimbledon Champion's Ball, and they attended the Burberry fashion show at London Fashion Week in September 2012, where they had coveted front row seats next to Anna Wintour.
