Robert Pattinson, Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman were among the number of famous faces who descended on the Rose Bowl arena on Sunday. The sell-out stop-off in the Jay Z and Justin Timberlake Legends of the Summer tour also saw Cash Warren, Kelly Sawyer and Chris Ivery attend.

Of course Beyonce, the famous other half of headliner Jay, also made an appearance at the concert, alongside 60,000 fans in the Pasadena, California venue.

Robert Pattinson was as usual discreet in his attendance although it was noted he arrived with singer Sia Furler.

In contrast, Natalie Portman arrived holding hands with her husband, Benjamin Millepied and Jessica Alba took to Instragram to rave about her experience.

While for many of the celebrity pairings, it seemed like the perfect date night, Chris Ivery turned up without his wife Ellen Pompeo.

Jessica Alba attended with her husband Cash but also brought along pal Kelly Sawyer, and it was these two who later cuddled up for photos with Beyonce after the concert.

The show, which formed part of the duo’s North American tour, saw music’s best-dressed chart-toppers, JT and Jay Z collaborate on each other’s hits.

The tour comes during a busy summer of stadium concerts, with Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffett and Bon Jovi all taking to football venues - although the Justin/Jay Z set-up is said to stand out as one of the season’s best.

Despite the pair recording just two songs together, the set list featured more than 30 songs and included all the crowd pleasers.

Mixing classics with current hits, the concert provoked an enormous reaction, with Justin admitting that the crowd were the best yet.

The chart-toppers' next stop will be in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
