Cheryl Cole warns: 'what children do to you' days before Simon Cowell baby news revealed

Cheryl Cole hasn't spoken out about the news that Simon Cowell is going to be a father, but the former X Factor judge has posted a "note to self" on Twitter, of what children "do to you".The star shared a photograph over the weekend showing her looking exhausted following a day of babysitting."#Notetoself this is what children do to you! Make you look/act and feel like a crazy person #crazysundaynotlazysunday", wrote the singer.

In the picture a wide-eyed Cheryl purses her lips, clearly tired after her "crazy Sunday".Pretty much make-up free, but for a brush of mascara accentuating her incredibly long lashes, the glamorous singer's hair looks loose and unkempt, unlike her impeccably styled locks that are more the norm. The picture was posted just a few days before the revelation that Simon Cowell is to become a father. The Geordie singer is yet to comment on claims that New York socialite Lauren Silverman, the wife of Simon's close friend, is pregnant with the music mogul's child.Last year Cheryl, who recently celebrated her milestone birthday when she hit 30, opened up about her desire to have children in an interview with GQ magazine. "I'd love kids," she said. "I'm obsessed with babies. Of course I've thought about baby names a million times. I like Alfie for a little boy. "She added: "I know that's what I was put on the Earth to do – to be a mother."

There is one baby that Cheryl is very excited about – the royal baby.

When Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced their son Prince George to the world for the first time, the pretty brunette couldn't hide her delight as she made a running commentary of the moment outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's hospital. "Congratulations to William and Kate!! So happy they have a healthy baby and everyone is good.

Can't wait to see him now #Royalbaby".She added, "Can you imagine, having just given birth yesterday you then have to step out to the worlds media and public ! #wow", followed shortly by the tweet, "I have anxiety lol #RoyalBaby".Then when the world saw the new mum looking wonderful in a Jenny Packham dress: "She looks amazing! Glowing", and finally, she posted images of clapping hands with the caption "and breathe".
