Eva Longoria adds glamour at charity event in Marbella

05 AUGUST 2013 As one of the former residents of Wisteria Lane, Eva Longoria knows a thing or two about red carpet glamour. The Desperate Housewives star pulled out all the stops to host a charity ball in Marbella last week.

The 38-year-old beauty looked stunning at the Global Gift Gala in a shimmering floor-length, high-necked sleeveless gown, teamed with smoky eyes and a stylish up-do.

“So excited for the @GlobalGiftGala in Marbella tonight,” she tweeted ahead of the event. “Look at how pretty the tables look!”

While Eva has hosted several Global Gift Galas across the globe, the soiree in Marbella was the first public event she has attended with her new boyfriend.  The beautiful brunette was escorted to the Hotel Grand Melia Don Pepe by Florida entrepreneur Ernesto Arguello, 34. The party then moved on to luxury beach club Nikki Beach Marbella where guests partied into the night.

The couple met last year after Ernesto appeared on Eva’s reality show, Ready For Love, and their romance is clearly blossoming with romantic getaways to Paris and Spain. But they decided to wait a little longer before making their red carpet debut – Ernesto made a discreet arrival at the gala, leaving his famous girlfriend to take centre stage.

Similarly he chose not to join Eva at a celebrity golf tournament that she hosted on 3 August for her charity, the Eva Longoria Fund, at La Quinta golf course.

The charity’s Global Gift Gala, which is held in assocation with Audi and Iberia Airlines, celebrates those who support and nourish awareness for children and the empowerment of women across the world.

The stylish hostess opted for a casual red polo short emblazoned with the resort’s logo, paired with white jeans, a Hermes belt and strappy Jimmy Choo heels.
