Victoria Beckham dismisses moving rumours and calls London 'home'

11 SEPTEMBER 2013 Victoria Beckham has declared her love for London, saying she is "so happy" to be back in the capital and has dismissed rumours that the family plans to move.

The singer-turned-stylist, who is currently promoting her latest collection at New York Fashion Week, may spend months of the year working abroad, but Victoria has called London her real "home".

"I'm so happy to be back in London — we all are," said the designer, according to MailOnline. "The kids go to fantastic schools, they have lots of friends and our family live in London.

"We're very proud to be British. I travel a lot, so I get influenced by lots of different places — but I'm enjoying London. I work every day and spend time with my family. London is an incredible city."

Victoria, her husband David Beckham and the couple's four children spent the summer back in Los Angeles. The successful fashionista was clearly loving life stateside and tweeted a photo of the family on a sunny day out, enjoying a hike.

The designer has spent the past few days in the Big Apple, accompanied by her husband and adorable two-year-old daughter Harper, where she presented her Spring/Summer 2014 Collection in two shows and received much praise from fashion critics.

"Spending time in New York is great," admitted Victoria. "There's such an energy here. But London is our home. We have no plans to move. That's where we're staying."

The Beckham family moved back to the UK at the start of this year, after a stint in Los Angeles for David's posting. The legendary footballer then had a brief signing with Paris Saint-Germain before his emotional retirement from the sport in May of this year.
