Ireland Baldwin shows off athletic physique on the beach

30 SEPTEMBER 2013 Ireland Baldwin has already won a name for herself as a model, and now she has revealed that she's quite the gymnast, too.

Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin's daughter showed off her talent on the shores of Dana Point, California on Saturday, later posting the impressive pictures to Instagram.

Ireland is seen doing a handstand on the beach shore, her hands just inches from the rolling sea in one of the beach snaps.

"Loving this weather" wrote the 17-year-old, along with a thumb's up sign.

Another shot shows the 6"2' blonde doing the splits high in the air with a sunny blue sky and ocean waves making the perfect backdrop. She captioned the fun photograph, "I can fly!!!!"

Dressed in a black T-shirt and turquoise leggings from Mahiku Activewear, the young barefoot model was prepared for an afternoon of fun on the beach with her yoga instructor.

With her hair held neatly in place by a French plait, she was determined not to let anything in her way for a spot of impressive exercise.

Defying gravity and showing her outstanding flexibility and naturally slim physique, the pretty blonde is also pictured leaping into the air for a stunning yoga pose.

She is clearly a fan of the bold Hawaiian-print leggings, tweeting, "The limited does not exist ... in these pants."

Earlier this year, Ireland officially became a model, signing with two different agencies, Two Management in Los Angeles and IMG in New York, where she has joined the ranks of legendary models like Kate Moss, Karlie Kloss and Chanel Iman.

Ireland, who recently became a big sister when her dad welcomed a little girl with wife Hilaria, also spent the weekend with boyfriend Slater Trout, a professional stand-up paddle surfer.

The pair celebrated their first anniversary together on Sunday, going to see indie pop band The XX.
