'Forever missing you dad': Kim Kardashian and siblings pay tribute to 'guardian angel' ten years on

01 OCTOBER 2013 The last day of September was a poignant day for the Kardashian siblings, who remembered their late father Robert Kardashian on the tenth anniversary of his death.

Kim Kardashian posted a touching tribute to her dad, who passed away in 2003 from esophageal cancer when the reality TV star was 22.

"Forever missing you dad. I can't believe it's been 10 years since you passed. Not a day goes by that I don't think about u or wish u were here," she wrote on Twitter.

"So many amazing blessings have happened since you've been gone & I wish u were here to see them all! I'd trade them all to have you back but I know you're watching over us protecting & guiding us!"

The message was accompanied by a cute family snap featuring Kim as a child with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé and brother Rob as a sweet baby – sitting happily on his father's knee. Completing the group is mother Kris Jenner – who was Mrs Kardashian from 1978 until the couple divorced in 1991.

Kourtney also shared a picture of her dad, taken at her graduation. Robert looks every inch the proud father in the photo, taken when the mum-of-two collected her bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and a Spanish from the University of Arizona.

"Missing my guardian angel...until we meet again," read the caption accompanying the picture.

Khloé was also feeling her father's absence. "Forever missing you! My guardian angel, resting in paradise," she wrote.

Meanwhile Robert Jr told how he would be "forever thankful" as he posted a father-son picture of himself sitting atop Robert Senior's shoulders.

.Another person sure to be missing Robert is his widow Ellen – who married the celebrity lawyer two months before he died.

On the anniversary of her late husband's passing came the news that a lawsuit against Ellen by the famous Kardashian family had been rejected by a judge.

RadarOnline reported the dismissal of the clan's attempts to recoup $500,000 in damages and profits from Ellen after she licensed Robert's personal journals to a publishing house.
