As an ambassador for Littlewoods, Mark recently handed out presents to mums who had stopped by the company's Liverpool store Littlewoods' specially for mums' grotto. "I was giving out a few presents and cuddles, it was nice," said the 26-year-old television star. "When I was younger, I used to go all the time to the grotto. I used to love it until I found out Santa wasn't real. "I can't wait for Christmas. I'm a massive, massive Christmas fan. I get excited all the way through December."

Mark opened up about his relationship with his own mum, adding that he would be spending Christmas Day at her house followed by a party at night. "I'm well close to my mum," said Mark. "She does everything for me. We're literally so close it's unbelievable. I see her as often as I can. I'm working a lot and so it's quite busy, but as soon as I get a chance I go see her. "Helping his mum prepare Christmas dinner isn't something Mark usually partakes in though. "If she asks for help I do, but otherwise I stay away from the kitchen," he said. "I prefer to watch the telly." The radio presenter added that he was hoping to get a pool table for Christmas. "I'm quite quick at doing my Christmas shopping," said Mark. "I get in my head what I want before I go, and then I go and get it. "Sometimes I get spotted when I'm out and about. It's brilliant, I don't really mind it. I like talking to people and saying hello, it's a lovely thing."
