Game on! Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright cheer on rival teams at football

09 JANUARY 2014 They might have been supporting opposing teams, but Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright maintained a united front as they headed for a night out at the football.

The loved-up couple arrived at the Etihad Stadium to watch Michelle’s team Manchester City take on Mark’s beloved West Ham United. Pre-match, they sat down to give a quick interview before taking their places in the stands.

Coronation Street star Michelle looked effortlessly stylish in a black and camel double-breasted coat with a faux fur trim. Her 26-year-old fiancé was also wrapped up in a warm coat and scarf.

Mark has a great love for the 'beautiful game', and is himself a former semi-professional footballer.

Unfortunately for him, the night ended in a heavy loss for West Ham, who were beaten by the Blues 6-0.

Michelle, meanwhile, was delighted by the result. The Manchester-born star, 26, has previously revealed she had been a life-long Manchester United fan, until she started dating her former fiancé, Max George from The Wanted.

"I was never a true United fan anyway. It was peer pressure. But I've seen the light since being with Max," she said at the time.

"City is my team and after watching the film Blue Moon Rising, I've found out that all true Mancunians are blues."

Michelle and Max decided to call time on their two-year romance in the summer of 2012. The actress started dating Mark in December 2012, and they announced their engagement in September 2013.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street fans watched Michelle's character Tina leave Weatherfield for London this week. But the star has reassured fans that it was not her last scene. "It's not the last of Tina…," she wrote. "Not just yet!"
